First off I want to welcome you all to Hogwarts. There are a few rules that you will be forced to follow, and if you decide not to, you will be punished. You may recieve three warnings, before being banned, unless it is a great offense to the rules. Thank you for joining, the rules are as followed.
1. NO KILLING ON HOGWARTS GROUNDS! That does not mean you can't kill, cause by all means, you can. But it must be a mutual agreement between you and the character you will be removing. Also, if you are killed, you are removed from the game.
2. High-level spells, and curses. No first year, or second, or third year could hope to accomplish the Pratronus Charm, so don't say you can, or even try and use it. The three unforgivables are also off limits to those under a sixth year. Of course, you are not supposed to use them, but what we don't know won't hurt us. The one curse you cannot use is the Imperious Curse, you can't control anothers character.
3. No magic in the hallways. Now i know that some of you are going to be like, "So we cannot duel?" that is not true. You can duel, and pick on people, just do it outside, not in the hallways. If you are ratted out for dueling with someone, you will be punished (Nothing Serious). However, if you are caught doing magic in the hallways, unless you were attacked, you will lose house points, and recieve a warning.
4. No super graphic scenes. Meaning, keep it done to kissing, and kissing only. There are people on this board they might lie about their age, and thus, if they are too young, I don't want to be reported for letting underage people read certain things.
5.Please use Third person, meaning don't type like this, "I walked over to the window," it should be, "Bryce walked over to the window." Please use spell check if you are not sure how to spells soemthing, and to check what you have already written.
6. I hate to tell you all this, but no post are going to be allowed, from this point on, that are less that Five sentences. That does not mean five lines, just sentances. That way people are not post one-liners. And please use correct gramatics, and punctuation. It is important.
7. The only people who can speak Parseltounge are the Riddles and the Potters. We can't have everyone running around hissing at each other. It just wouldn't make sense. Unless you can give the admin a good valid reason as to why you should speak it, don't do it!
8. No double or triple or however many posting. USE THE EDiT BUTTON! It gets very annoying to have to read three posts by the same person, all in a row. Give people a chance to respond.
+ Posting will go in an ABCABC fashion, unless another person consents to allow the others to continue posting without them. (EX: That person sits in the corner and watches a fight, stands back and observes a battle, or explains that they wish for the others to carry on without them for the time being.)
+ No leaving someone behind. If a person is left behind, they can contact an administrator and order the deletion of certain posts so the left out player can reply.
9. When a character's house is not password protected, by all means do not start posting in there. Please get permission from the owner of the house before you start making random posts. It can mess up someone's plot idea. This also go for threads that have also been started. If you see that the thread is about a page long, pm the members in that thread and ask if you can join them. It can be very distracting to have someone come into a thread after so many posts.
Now the rules will constantly be updated, and if you have any suggestions post them in the suggestions board, or PM me, or one in the Inquisitorial Squad. Thank you.
